Each year, Cars.com puts their American-Made Index, which ranks the top vehicle brands that are made here in the United States. As drivers in the Baxter area are already aware, many of the new Toyota vehicles you can find at Lake Country Toyota are made at various production facilities across America. Of those models made in the U.S.A., three Toyota vehicles made the Cars.com list, with the Toyota Camry taking home the top spot.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Camry has been lauded for its high build standards, parts, and sales volume in the United States. Using high-quality Toyota parts, the Toyota Camry is manufactured in Lafayette, Indiana and Georgetown, Kentucky, where it's exceeded all the expectations of Cars.com, thanks to the assembly workers in each plant who continue to help the Camry stay a popular vehicle at dealerships like ours, and around the nation.
The Camry wasn't alone on the list either. Coming in fourth place, moving up two spots overall from a year ago is the Toyota Sienna minivan, which ranked the highest among all others in its segment, and is built in Princeton, Indiana. Rounding out the Toyota representation is the Toyota Tundra, placing seventh overall, also rising two spots from the previous rankings. The Tundra is assembled at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Plant Texas, which is headquartered in San Antonio.
